Dr. Yun-Ru Chen Awarded 2016 CSLT Outstanding Young Scholars Award

Dr. Chen’s research focuses on understanding the mechanism of protein misfolding diseases, amyloidosis, by various techniques including biochemical, biophysical, molecular, and cellular methods.

Her research works as reported in ‘Full-length TDP-43 Antibody Confirms Human FTLD’ and ‘Negatively Charged Gold Nanoparticles Proved to Ease the Accumulation of Proteins Causing Alzheimer’s Disease’ had made notable contributions to the studies of human neurodegenerative diseases.

Congratulations to Dr. Chen!
